Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1947 Willy’s jeep! It has the original drivetrain in it. Flathead 4 cylinder with a manual transmission and t-case. It ran great until it spun a main bearing last spring so it doesn’t run now and I don’t have the time to get it there at the moment. I don’t need to sell it but would rather have someone fix it then it just sit. It comes with an extra hood, grill, bed extension, half cab, transfer case, one spare wheel, and some other parts like a front bumper.
I’m asking $3,000 and have a clean clear title in hand.”
