Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1947 Willys CJ2A. Original flat head 4 cylinder, 3 speed. Vehicle ran well when I garaged it 27 years ago. It has been in a closed garage since 1995 except for the last 18 months. Vehicle is complete but in need of a restoration. I primered it when I originally bought it to discourage rust but there is still some decay in the expected spots. Comes equipped with a “Overland Manufacturing Ordinance” hard top which is in OK condition. Asking $3500 or best offer.”
It’s been stored for a while. The body was repaired at some point.

You’ll have to come check it out to appreciate the work. Has been sitting awhile but will start and run. Good tires all around. Used it around the farm for fun but have no use for it anymore.”

Listed as a 1946, it appears to have a later grill. It seems like there could be some parts value here at the very least.

This looks to be a CJ-3A chassis with a CJ-2A body.
