This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (09/17/2024) According to the seller this was a Navy contract CJ-2A. It’s not clear what evidence the seller has, but there might be a plate under the serial plate on the firewall. This would be a rare 2A if that’s the case.

This is a project of some type. The body looks to be a replacement body, so hard to tell if this has a WWII or CJ chassis/

Dan shared this nice looking CJ-2A with a Kelly 23 series hardtop. This HiBid auction ends with a soft close in 23 days. This does have some unusual looking hubs, which I imagine are just a cover over the original hubs?

This jeep may be worth a look. Is that hitch unusual? It looks like three rods/bolts are holding it in place.
