Ann and I thank everyone for the congratulations and well wishes!! We have been busy cleaning up after the wedding and spending time with my kids, so my eWillys time has been a bit crunched. I’ve got a few updates below.
Here is a pic from the wedding. No, there weren’t any jeeps involved in the wedding, however I did receive an embroidered eWillys hat and Ann an embroidered eWillys purse, so those will make an appearance on here soon.
The wedding was fun. Moments before the ceremony started my parents’ dog Jill realized that there were dogs just across the fence from her, causing her to start a major barking and growling episode. I had to jump into the surrounding bushes and chase her away. That even was quickly followed by a young child throwing up. The parent grabbed the child and rushed to the bathroom. Part way through the crowd, the child threw up again, causing guests to dodge digested matter. What fun would a wedding be without kids and dogs . . .
Nice looking couple! Friends of yours? ;>)
Congrats guys…. Without kids and dogs something else would have happened… My sister had a “no kids” request for hers and the ring was lost through the floorboards (found fairly quickly) and into the ceiling of the floor below in the barn loft and there were raccoons in the rafters making noise and she got stung by a bee under her dress at the alter…. Just minor annoyances on your happy days. =)
No Jeeps huh. haha 🙂 It sounds/ reads like it fun and enventful day.
Again congratulations!
Congrats to you both.
Love the website.
You to are a really nice couple, congratulations again.
Nice picture.
Congratulations to you and your beautiful bride. You are very lucky to have each other. My significant other is a ” Volvo ” person and refuses to ride in my VEC. Never-the-less, I love her just the same. Each and every day I look forward to reading E-Willys . Thank you for all of your efforts. I know that you put a lot of time into this and I just want you to know that there are a lot of us out here that truly appreciate your hard work!!!.
-Thanks again – Mike Menning
Congratulations Dave & Ann Eilers!
Congrats, you guys look great! Did you not even drive away from the ceremony in Lost Biscuit?
When I married my wife I said you are going to have a questions some day and I want you to have the answer before you have the question because I don’t want you thinking about it to long.. So the questiion Ann is going to have some day is “Why did I marry Dave”. What is the preprogramed answer you want her to have.
By they way you are going to have the same question and my wife used the answer on me more than I on her.
You look very happy, good luck to both of you!
In regards to those unexpected events at your wedding, like Roseanne Roseannadanna use to say, “It’s always somthin’ !”
Yeah, she does make me look pretty good, doesn’t she 🙂
To answer Bob’s question: No, Biscuit wasn’t at the wedding. Biscuit has a nice comfy home at my parents garage. There isn’t any room in Pasco at the moment for him. However, he is getting some attention this week. I’ll him out again in the pasture tomorrow and we’ll try to get some shots of the kids driving.
