“Here is your chance to buy a very rare vehicle. Up for sale is a 1948 Willys Sedan Delivery 4 wheel drive. As you can see by the pictures this Willys is in good shape. Has rebuilt 226 I-6 flathead with 5,000 miles on it. I have owned this vehicle since 1985.”
That’s a nice Delivery, but wouldn’t a ’48 have a flat nose? Was the 226 offered that early?
Nope, it’s not a 48
Probably closer to a 56-58 with the pointed front end and L-226 engine. 1948s didn’t have 4WD. 1949 had 4WD with the L-134 engine, 1950 had the F-head 134 with 4WD.
