I have a Tonka Toy of this which I got about 1967.
Does it look like this http://cj3b.info/Toys/Surrey.html? Here’s a closeup http://cj3b.info/Photos/Toys/Surrey/TonkaSurreyRedmond.JPG
At my parents house, I’ve still got one similar to this one http://cj3b.info/Photos/Toys/Tonka/FedorkoTonka500.jpg that is still in perfect condition. My grandmother bought it for me to play at her house many years ago. I had a lot of fun with it as a kid π
The big one is it. Looking at the years produced, I might have got it earlier than I thought.
Dave, it’s a different surry. Look at the outside mirror, the striped material (and lack of) above the rear fender. the color of the blocks on the hood, the tailpipes and the second post’s Jeep has seat belts. The windshield braces appear to be different diameter tubing. Anyone interested in buying my brother’s Tonka surry ?
You are correct. The above surrey has a round mirror while the surrey from Janesville has a square mirror. I agree with the other comments too. Thanks for puzzling this out!
