Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This runs and drives. The square-edged gas tank suggests this might be an early ’42.

“1942 Willys Jeep…$2700….. Original Engine, good condition. Runs, Drives, all working parts. Does need some help in :1. Starter does not always catch first time, but will start. 2/ new brakes, but must be bled out and hooked up, new brake lines etc. 3. will drop out of 2nd gear at times… Good Shape otherwise…. best deal for a Willys on CL…. Will start up, had a tune up recently. Very very good condition. Items must get fixed or attached prior to driving. It will drive!!!! Just does not stop !! Haha!!!”
