Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

I kinda like the red one better…this color is just way wrong!
Bumpers, color, and upholstery are…unique….. Maybe the color is a camera issue, as they can’t seem to get it in focus either. Looks decent other than that.
I can understand painting a Surrey a different color than pink, but the Cerulean Blue would have been my choice.
On second thought, seller does not call it a Surrey, only a convertible. So this might just be a personalized convertible with a Surrey style top.
Good point. I just assumed Surrey based on some of the details. It it wasn’t originally a Surrey, then someone spent some time to make it a copy.
It does have some Surrey only items, like the hubcaps, windshield straps and footman loops on the fenders, windshield grab bars, and front valance panel, but it has the wrong bumpers front and rear. The ad says it has a 4 speed manual transmission, but it appears to have the column shift mechanism. Maybe if you count reverse it would be a 4 speed. Cerulean Blue would have been a much more pleasant color for sure!
We may have to contact the seller for more information about it.
I talked with the dealer who is selling this DJ3A and the serial number is 56337 16515, making it built in 1959. The original color was a dark green, they have a photo of it in its previous life. Originally owned by the gentleman who owned Club 21 in Manhattan. The dealer I talked with is going to send me additional information on this Jeep. When I get it, I will let you know if it was a Surrey or not, but I am leaning toward it not, depending on what I see from the photo they are sending.
In looking at the ebay photos and information, the serial number is different that what I was told by the dealer back in May. The serial number given now is 56337 17772, which puts it in the 1960 production year. It does have a lot of Surrey equipment on it, but again, the color is a turn off!
Never heard any more from the seller back in May, but this is the same vehicle listed again. I have it recorded under both serial numbers in my database.
