UPDATE: This appears to have sold. Was at $10,000
This looks nice. Even better, it’s been broken in a little following its restoration.
“I’m listing my jeep that I have loved and continue to love, just trying to downsize a bit and refocus priorities. It has been a staple in my life for a while now and have participated in numerous parades and shows around Jacksonville. It is a 1944 Willys MB WWII jeep. It runs well and does not smoke. Has the original WWII flathead 4 cylinder w/ original 3 speed T-84 transmission. Brand new brakes/brake lines and rebuilt master cylinder, filled w/ straight silicone brake fluid. It utilizes an 8 volt battery and voltage regulator has been adjusted to charge it properly. Uses the original 6 volt lighting just burns a bit brighter. Has been running this way for over a year with no issues. Installed a new “original style” cloth covered wiring harness from Vintage Wiring of Maine, the best in the market. New original style fuel pump w/ the primer handle, new repro gas tank, new repro windshield frame. The tub, hood, seat frames; with the exception of the canvas, rubber and a few odds and ends, everything else is original WWII period. The hood number is original to the jeep as I found them under the paint and have photos attesting to this. It is a nice piece of history and an attention getter everywhere you go.”
