UPDATE: Back on eBay. Colin exchanged emails with the seller and learned this is a very early DJ-3A, as it is the 92nd DJ3A built in late 1955.
This is a nice DJ-3A that was found on the CJ-3B Page.

This Jeep is stock all but tail lights and air cleaner, which I have both to include in sale… 2 Wheel drive…. Great for around town to the post office and back. Hate to let it go must move on…”
I sent the seller an email asking about the serial number and any history on it, but have not heard back from him yet. Maybe today or this weekend.
The serial number on the DJ3A is 56337 10092, making it a very early DJ3A, like the 92nd one built. I hope to make phone contact with the seller soon.
Bad News Boys. This morning the auction was ended early by the seller saying the item is no longer available. Someone out there near Redwood Country might still make a deal on this very nice DJ3A.
