UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $750
It looks like there is value here. Note the seller will throw in an overdrive for another $250.
“1946 CJ-2A. This vehicle does not currently run, it’s a project. The previous owner said it ran great until the trans broke. The transmission (T-90) is out of the vehicle and needs rebuilding. The input shaft is damaged. The brakes are non-existent and the is some rust but not too bad.
This CJ has been modified with a Saginaw steering box and a 12 volt conversion. The hood and windshield frame depicted in the first photo are no longer on the vehicle. The hood was poorly repaired with bondo and the windshield frame was rusted badly. I have since found a better hood and windshield frame, they will be included with the sale of the vehicle. Additional modifications include the installation of a later F-head engine with a low-profile Holley carb. This carburetor is desirable as it allows you to keep the stock hood without cutting a hole in it for air-cleaner clearance. The carb has been rebuilt, the fuel-pump (glass-bowl type) has been cleaned and inspected.
I also have a Warn overdrive for this CJ and I will include it for an additional $250. The OD is not available separately; I’ll let the entire package go for $1000 firm. The tires and wheels may also stay with me depending on the results of the CJ-3B sale. This CJ will have the wheels and tires from the 3B should this sell before the 3B does. I’m keeping one of these Willys but two is kind of too much (I’m told).”
