This is Dave .. David shared this Convertible DJ-3A. It’s listed as a 1958, but has a King-Seeley 0-8 speedometer, which would make the jeep a 1956 model if original to the jeep. However, this has a curved front bumper, something I didn’t think was introduced until later (perhaps in 1958?).

The problem with these old Willys are you can buy one in good shape for less than it will cost to fix an old one up.

That’s true for many, of not most, old cars of less desirable models …or even a desirable model with a less popular body style.
It’s been that way pretty much forever.

problem is i can’t turn a wrench. i can build a house but can’t turn a wrench. so i would rather simply buy one already running. pride or no pride.

b, factor in that the seller is high as Willie Nelson on price… don’t mistake asking for getting.

That’s crazy because I have a 53 CJ three that ran a few years ago. I stored it at my mom‘s and she moved out of the house. She was in so now I have it in front of my house and it needs a battery and somebody to mess with the carburetor for 5000 ready to go

I guess I lost track, but is there any kind of an update on what’s happening with the site? I’m sure I’m not the only one who checks in daily with hopes of seeing a resurrection of the site.

Brad, You haven’t lost track of things. Tim can comment more formally if he wants, but a process that should have taken two weeks tops has lasted three months. Tim’s team is ready to go, but there has been “hiccups” on my webhost’s side of things. Trust that everyone is eager to move forward!

I should add, because Tim’s team and the site is ready to go on his server, any info added posts to the site will be lost (like these recent comments will be). So adding content doesn’t make sense.
