Anyone recognize their serial number?

1984 Dawson County GA list of vehicles for Auction.

What a run for that 1953! 31 years, not that I know it was placed in service new, but if I had to guess I would say sure.

Decade sago, I would attend these county auctions in New Jersey and never even came close to having a winning bid on a vehicle. I remember a few actions with running Jeeps in good shape that were withdrawn before the auction even started. Special consideration was given to police officers, so the general public didn’t have the chance to bid, and then there were the “PLANTS” bidding up the price, not to mention the BIG SPENDERS with public influence that got high bids by others rejected, so they could make their “Sweetheart Deals”. I gave up on these public auctions because of the above reasons.

Any idea what a,”1952 Dodge Jeep” is? I tried googling etc the serial number with no luck. I know often people will tie the Jeep name to any small utility vehicle. I can’t think of anything like that unless there was some type of command car???

My guess was an M37 Power Wagon, on the 1967 my guess are those would be M715’s based on S/N.

Might be able to find like a 4th of July parade or something like that where the vehicles are hiding for us.
