UPDATE: Thanks to Gordon for pointing out this link that discusses another jeep that a buyer in France is trying to acquire after purchasing it. https://www.thecj2apage.com/forums/need-help-to-pick-up-my-cj2a_topic53340.html, which is *think* is by the same seller.
Andy shared this very stock 2A for sale. I suspect this is another jeep that was a part of Andy’s collection.

“Up for sale is a 1946 Willys CJ-2A farm Jeep. It sits in its all original condition. Never any metal patch work and or re paints. Does not currently run. Has PTO with lift and governor underneath the hood. All original gauges, seats, top bow brackets, paint, wheels and tires. Truly a special rare restoration project.”
Buyer beware – See “Need help to pick up my CJ2a” thread over on the CJ2A forum.
Thanks Gordon. I’ve added a link to that comment. I’m sorry to hear folks have been a bit rough on Wallace. She seemed like a nice person when we met her back in 2011. She doesn’t deserve the hounding it sounds like she’s endured.
An agreement has been made and all parties have been satisfied. The jeep is legitimately up for sale. I am the one who listed it.
Hello, I am the buyer from france and don’t understand why reselling this jeep now after refuse to sell it (to me). Is it racism with buyers outside the USA? I think not with andrew’s wife and with andrew himself when he was alive. This story is uncredible…If someone can tell me the right reason to reset this deal, i would be glad to read him. Olivier
Dear Ted, I am not sure that “all parties have been satisfied”. Sure I have received the 5000 dollars by return, but what about the 2 000 dollars parts which are always in andrew’s house at this time? His wife is right to let them gone, but for free.
But I am in France you know. The CJ2A was the trailer for these parts with the agreement of Andrew. Now we don’t have solution without shipping cost.
Now the price is 12 000 for this farm jeep, I understand now the choice was first to get more money… Why not but I would be glad to knowing that at the beginning, not now. I just know that Andrew tried to sell it more than 5 000 by the past: you can see the links of previous add for this CJ on the post I have written on the CJ2A page forum. He never won the deal; perhaps you?
sorry for the double
Hi Olivier,
No problem on the duplicate comment. It seems to be caused by a software glitch.
I am also sorry to hear that your situation hasn’t be fully resolved yet. I don’t know all that has happened, but I do hope a better resolution for you can be achieved!
Best wishes,
– Dave

Thanks David.
Yesterday I have asking for Wallis about that, here is her answer this morning (5.00 o’clock here in France):
“I’m not sure what that is…that’s not me.”
Someone here knows Ted? Who are you dear Ted…: a friend, a neighbor, a business man, perhaps someone of his family?
There are situations which are not simple… This old car just need a little love and interest to restore it, that was only my wish in this deal.
I just want to tell you everybody that Andrew was right with me all the time, just a little hard with the price offered on ebay. And his wife was always very kind with me.
