“Runs but has low comperssion on 2 cylinders”
I tried to get seller to send me addtional pictures and info. All he responded was it was all stock engine and drivetrain. Doesn’t pass the sniff test with me.
Mike, yeah, strange. It doesn’t look like all that would be stock. Those are also big tires for stock axles.
Low compression on two cylinders of the L head 4 cylinder engine is often a blown head gasket between those two cylinders. The space between the cylinders is very narrow. It happened to me once 55 years ago. It ran just good enough to get me four miles home.
Tom, that’s a useful bit of info. Other than my DJ-3A, I’ve got no experience with the L-heads.
