“1943 Ford Jeep Flathead 4 cylinder, new pistons, rings, crankshaft, main and rod bearings, oil pump 3 speed manual with overdrive, 11″ front disc brake conversion, 11″ rear breaks, new front hubs Custom 15″ wheels with new tires Original steel centers with larger barrels to clear bigger brakes Front tow bar”
For 13k its a train wreck, it has been totally swap around till very little is stock.
The vertical plane of the windscreen gives it an odd look. Looks like the drawing in the old Beetle Bailey comics.
Not having a MB/GPW, is the windshield angle adjustable…or were the brackets (or stops) put in the wrong place?
JohnB,
This windshield was not standard. It was likely used with a hardtop, similar to the metro engineering style top windshields for flat fenders like this: http://www.ewillys.com/2014/11/05/1944-gpw-st-louis-mo-7500/
