“1947 Willys Jeep CJ-2A and trailer. 21,000 miles! Floors and frame are solid. It’s been stored inside pretty much its entire life. Was parked in 2009, hasn’t been moved since. As close to completely original as you can get.”

Already sold! That was probably the nicest survivor CJ2A that has come up for sale in a couple years. Hopefully the buyer keeps it just the way it is.

I contacted the owner this morning. By this afternoon it was gone. He did say the engine was seized though.

A seized engine seems like an important, overlooked detail!
I’m pretty sure it sold because of this site. I caught the listing several hours after he posted it. It sat for ~10 days and he even dropped the price earlier in the week. Less than 24 hours after being on this site, poof!
Most likely a hung open exhaust vale, happens a lot when they sit. I’m sure with a little work it could be freed up and running like a champ judging by the condition of that old girl
