“1959 WILLYS CJ3 JEEP ( NO TRADES ) RESTORE PROJECT (NOT RUNNING ) · KOEING EXTENSION AND DUMPING BED · Other_body_style · Driven 150,000 miles OVER HEAD VALVE 4 CYLINDER ORIGINAL ENGINE WITH A REBUILT HEAD. THE BOTTOM END WILL NEED REBUILT . A lot of new parts … new seats , some wiring , fuel pump , hoses , spark plugs . CLEAR COLORADO TITLE . FOUR WHEEL DRIVE , ALL ORIGINAL DRIVE LINE. No rust though body . This is a unrestored original little jeep that has not been on the road for decades . I have not tried to start or run the engine , it may start and run but would probably have low compression . The brakes will need gone though . At least adding brake fluid and bled . Not interested in trades .”
I wonder how this Koenig Rear Bed Extension dumps. Has anyone ever seen this feature dump? The CJ3B I just bought has a Koenig Bed but is fixed to the draw bar and rear tailgate mounting.
I don’t think there is anyway that extension can dump, maybe he is referring to the ability to drop the tailgate.
I’m with Mark on this. The Keonig extension never advertised a dumping ability, but the tailgate sort of gives it that ability.
