“This 1956 Willys, CJ 3B jeep is 100% original, low mileage survivor. It has been in storage for 20+ years and was running prior to that. It is a perfect project that would be perfect short trips around town. It comes with a clear title on a current non-op. For more information call David at 209-304-04ninenine”
doesn’t have original radiator, horn and has electric fuel pump. interesting number 13 on cowl and back passenger side.
Very nice from what I’m seeing. Even still has the wood anti-vibration block at the spare tire location. Sad that it’s a FB ad with few photos. Be nice to see what the sheet metal looks like at the spare tire location and other features. Also like the vintage road bike to the immediate right of the Jeep.
I saw that block and thought, ‘if the block is still there it bodes well for the rest of the jeep’s condition’.
I’m thinking that road bicycle could be a Raleigh Record, ca 1972. 3bs are a favorite. Thankfully there’s no room for another Jeep, or bicycle.
Gary, I think you’re right. I have a 72 Dawes with a Reynolds 531 frame I bought new at the Bike shop in Stockton CA. If I’m not mistaken, Dawes was made by Raleigh or at least the frame. One of my favorite possessions to date.
The 3B looks really straight. Good thing it’s clear across country. Ship would probably be a couple grand.
Just sold. I was going to try and grab it as it matches my 59.
