“I have a running 1942 Willy’s Slat Grille Jeep. It has the original tub / body, original frame complete with machine gun mount in rear, and original slat grille also has an original late model MB radiator. Roughly 2500 were made with this particular grille and even less were made with the glovebox. Runs very well feel free to email me if you have any questions or if you want more pictures about the vehicle.”
Great looking MB Slat Grill. It’s for sale just in time for the Military Vehicles Collectors of California’s (MVCC) Fall Meet at Camp Delta near Lodi, CA, not far from Sacramento.

I actually bought this jeep from this cl ad. Turned out to be an april 1942 frame. BRT contract slat with glovebox tub, correct hood and fenders. 18 months later i finished a full frame off rebuild. Back to all WWII running gear. I still have it and love it.
