Not sure about this one given the labeled year, but post war MP jeeps in occupied Germany were armored up similar to this because of snipers and such. While the war had ended, there was still unrest and rebellion in occupied Germany, especially the cities.

Ugh … I see you are correct (literally 6 days ago)! Honestly, my website attention has been especially low the last few weeks. Where I used to check my email hourly, Now I sometimes only check it once a day.
Ann and I spent the last two weeks reading bill drafts and she was doing zoom meetings with house and senate leaders to secure the passage of an amendment to a bill that improves a victims of terrorism fund (http://www.usvsst.com), of which she is a part. Thanks to a lot of work by her and others, the bill passed with bipartisan support. It both injects money into the fund and improves the funding framework.
The fund was established in 2015 and was supposed to be supported through fines on banks and other institutions that do busy with countries that support terrorism; however, congress had been stealing some of those funds. Things should be righted and improved with the new bill.
