Being a waterproof unit it is more than just a face, it encompasses the entire unit, rather like a plastic cup with the bottom facing the driver.
Mine was like that and was a chore to find someone to replace it. I finally did and it wasn’t cheap. If you want to save money, it’s cheaper to buy a reproduction unit.
