I wonder why this is sporting a Dana 23-2 rear end?  The Dana 23-2 was used on the MBs/GPWs and early ’46.  Next, the Dana 41 was used until the Late 1950 CJ-3As when the Dana 44 was installed.  As best I can tell, all the M-38s used a Dana 44.

Comes with Advance Adapters Small Block Chevy to original Jeep T-90 transmission assembly($500 new), good transmission and good Transfer case, Dana 25 front axle, Dana 23-2 rear axle, 15 inch wheels with tires that are worn out.
