Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Originally published May 27, 2022: I’ve never seen these ads. They appear to be focused on dealers. It’s unclear where these were published. The seller has a variety of other more standard, consumer-oriented ads.

These are really interesting to me. My dad joined my grandfather in the truck business at their Sacramento, CA Mack dealership in 1953 when he got out of the Navy. Sometime in the 50s they added Jeeps. I’ve always thought that was probably my dad’s idea. I wonder if he saw some material like this before making that decision.
