Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Looks like a good price. It does not have a title.
“A 1952 4WD Willys Jeep CJ3a. Nice “Elvis” inspired paint job. Body, frame, and floors all excellent. 4 cyl, 3 speed, Goodyear tires, chrome wheels, lockout hubs, good brakes, good clutch, rollbar. Former farm vehicle comes with original VIN plate and Bill of Sale. Too old for Title.”
NYS is a No Title state for vehicles manufactured prior to 1973. Don’t let the “No Title” scare you away. At the transaction, you will exchange your money for a NYS Transferrable Registration which the seller will sign over to you. We do it here all the time.
What Joseph says is true, but this jeep has no plate or registration sticker, seller says he will give a ‘bill of sale’, stay away .
