UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
This has some mods.
“1948 Willy’s jeep has a Studebaker 170 hp flathead six and a Warn overdrive with a Saginaw steering box.
Runs, drives and stops. Original gas tank under the seat was rusted out has a 15 gallon aluminum tank in bed extender.
Clean title in my name.
Maybe trade for a good running 4wheeler 550 or bigger or an old ironhead or whatever.”
I suspect the seller meant the Studebaker 6 engine had 170 cubic inches, not 170 hp. Probably more like 85 hp in stock form for the little Studie.
oh my god , leadville , colo ? been there , done it , LEADVILLE IS 10,000 FEET ABOVE MEAN SEA LEVEL !! — you can see why somebody bolted in a studebaker 6 , and they should have bolted a SUPERCHARGER ON THAT !! .. i drank too much drambuie whisky in leadville once , in my brand new north face VE-24 tent , i couldnt get out of it fast enough to throw up , liquor + high altitude = VOMITOUS MAXIMOUS !!
