Dave, I searched British scout cars WW2 and found one that resembles the one you pointed out.

Check out 0:11 and the image angle is very close to this WWII photo… almost identical.
Thanks guys. The rib-looking sides reminded me of an Austin Champ, which confused me, though it’s obviously no Austin. Maybe someone added armor to the sides?
