“1949 Promo Car Willys Jeepster Cast Toledo Bronze Co Al-toys RARE 15″ Unrestored told they only made about 350 of these! guess costs were too high to produce & sell, were never sold retail, were made for dealer promo’s pretty rare piece!! a must for the serious collector! have only seen a couple of them for sale at 3000-3500 heres a nice unrestored example!
have some other high end toys listed!”
THERE MIGHT BE A COUPLE OF RERODUCTION REAR BUMPERS OUT THERE SOMEPLACE THAT WOULD COMPLETE THIS UNRESTORED JEEPSTER. Not a bad price in this condition.
Close look seems like the windshield frame is cracked on left side. Packing for shipment must be very careful. Colin and I had about 5 of these together for a pix about 2012. Probably the most in one spot since they left Toledo Brass. I’ll find that pix somewhere displayed in front of my buddy’s same color 1948 Jeepster
Thanks guys. Picking up some of rarer Al-toys is definitely on my list, right behind getting Biscuit running. I’ll freshen up Patterson (the DJ-3A) first this Spring, then get going on Biscuit.
Sent photos to Dave of Al-Toy Jeepsters taken at Glenn’s place in Maine in 2006.. Time slips away, doesn’t it Glenn!!!
Chiming in on this old post. Looking for headlights and turn signals. Are reproduction parts available for these models?
Hi Jon,
I haven’t seen any parts reproduced for these. There is a similar jeep made by Ogelsby and someone makes an aftermarket windshield made for them. More on the cast aluminum toys: https://cj3b.info/Toys/Altoys.html

Hi I have collection of these from my grandfather. There were only about 50 Fire trucks made. And I’m lucky enough to have one. Along with a few others. Let me know if any interest.
