“This is a stunning 1948 Willy’s Jeep that has been carefully restored to be a perfect piece for a collector or a Jeep lover who wants a piece of American History. Purchased with plans to drive as a summer toy, plans have changed and need to find this beauty a great home. Vehicle displays 66,705 miles. Vehicle has been restored and includes many original components, including the engine, transmission, bridge frame, gauges, etc.

Was repainted in a satin fire red color and is a real head turner both on and off the road. As you can see from the pictures, all restoration components were carefully selected to be vintage OEM pieces and the work was done to keep the vintage feel of the era. The jeep includes 1/2 doors with canvas uppers (not pictured) and a full canvas top (as shown).

The top alone cost nearly $3,000! Also includes a 1/2 vinyl top that encloses the front seats, leaving the rear cargo area open. The front seats are original frames and material from 1948, while the rear seat has been part of the restoration and was re-covered with a grey canvas material. This vehicle was modified to a modern 12V system with a fuel pump during the restoration.
