UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3900.
Appears worth a look. It is missing steps.
“1948 Willy’s Jeep
Original 6 volt system
Nice and solid straight body/frame
Has been in storage 2 years
Currently turns over
Have numerous new parts to completely restore including: 12 volt conversion kit,
Wiring system, dash panel instruments”
So whoever buys this could fabricate/buy side steps OR GET ROCK SLIDERS from Ian (Big Willy). I’m pretty sure I’ll get a pair for the ’48 CJ2A. They’re functional (protect the sides) and look very cool.
End of unsolicited commercial. 🙂
Joe, did I somehow miss that you have a 1948 CJ-2A?
Dave, I bought this one that YOU found and posted on eWillys back in 2012:

In 2014 I gave it to Joel (who was born in ’48) for all his work on the 42 GPW, then bought it back from him almost 2 yrs ago. Now I need to work on it… get it running again.
