UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6500.
Needs some wiring, but runs and drives.
“1951 cj3A Texas jeep with original sheet metal in floors and everywhere else. Very solid throughout. Runs drives and stops great Original 4 cylinder flathead L-134 engine. Strong runner. Converted to 12v at some point. Original 3 speed T-90 in great shape. New tires as seen in pictures. New fuel system tank to Original Carter w/o carb. Complete new exhaust system. New military canvas seat covers. Now you read the good, now for the bad: No working headlights or brake lights. (Easy wiring job on these early models) no working windshield wipers. This has never been a road vehicle since me owning it. So lights and horn not necessary. I did a number of things when I purchased like new water pump, fan belt and hoses, u-joints, distributor, wires, etc Clean Colorado title in my name Call for additional details”
Seems like this could be a good price… sure looks nice!
I really like the look of that vintage Dodge (Power Wagon?) in the background ;-).
This was a great buy. The Jeep is very solid, runs and drives great. It has arrived at its new home in Western Washington.
Congrats Matt! I really liked this one.
Sounds like you got a great deal 🙂
Congrats, Matt! I also liked this one, but couldn’t at the time… luckily another ’51 CJ3A I like just as much popped up locally and is now mine!
Congrats Matt! I’ve updated the post. What part of Western Wash? (I grew up in Renton ad have lived and travelled all over .. currently in the tri-cities).
