Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Here’s a Parkway that needs some work. The serial number 453-RA2 indicates it is a rare 4WD Sedan Delivery (only 992 made in 1953).

“1953 Willys-Overland Parkway Conversion Wagon…. description in photos…… Motor runs great…. there are no brakes on it at the moment so it must be hauled….. rusty and needs lots of tlc…..would make a good off road project currently 2wd but I have the adapter plate and transfer case to make it 4×4 $3000”
