Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. At least some value is here, but I can’t tell how good the body is.
“I have a 1946 CJ2A project. Mostly complete including a free turning engine. T90 trans, Dana 18 transfer case. Seats in excellent condition. I bought it to restore, but it turns out to be too much for me. This is a major project or great parts vehicle. Very little body rust. Floors and tailgate solid. No title or numbers”
I can’t tell if this sold or if the ad expired.
Craigslist message: “This posting has expired.”
It certainly looks complete enough to be worth that asking price, and worth checking it out in person.
