Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (10/03/2020) Looks in reasonable shape. Has a PTO powered Ramsey winch.
“1952 Willy’s Overland Jeep CJ3A – Unmodified, stock, running, driving, one family since new. Rare factory PTO Ramsey winch. Runs great. It is an unrestored driver. Definitely gets thumbs up all over town but is not perfect. We’ve had our fun and it’s time for something different.”
Been for sale for over a month at that price. Which, should tell the seller a little somethin’.
It also was on CL until that time ran out.
Yeah, the seller isn’t too serious about selling. But, sometimes folks make low offers on these type of ads and they sell. That’s why I relist them.
Oh’ it’s short drive for me, and I have asked some smart fellers who know these vehicles what the value/offer should be. I won’t bother as the offer would be much less than the ask.
Plus I don’t think they came in that color and I like my items as close to factory stock as possible.
It’s a thing with me.
