UPDATE: **SOLD** for $14,100.
Bill shared this one. The seller claims to not know what this model is, but it has a slat grille and lacks a glove box. It does not have the squared off gas tank. Currently, it’s sitting at $12,100.
“Not a Jeep expert. Found a Ford. So this one goes. Excellent runner. Well maintained. A few small oil leaks. Newly rebuild WW2 transmission. Not sure whatS original and what isn’t. So you will need to ask questions. If your looking for a good runner for re enacting or just cruising around town. This is the Jeep for you.”
Looks like bumper gussets have been cut, maybe rails, hard to see. He sent me picks of engine, has post war head, he does not know serial number of engine. What would be a good price for this?
James,
I’d say this needs a closer inspection, given the unknowns. I can’t tell if it is an early jeep or just a jeep assembled from various parts. Seems to be a solid jeep. My guess is that it probably won’t go up much at the current price.

The tub is script also. I saw the pics through g503. He had tons of pics of everything BUT the engine bay. If the whole body is indeed an original slat, the frame and running gear also, it would be a good buy at that amount.
Where on G503? I could not find it in the for sale section. Thanks
It’s in the auction section. I commented there too, and it was reposted again.
Thanks for the info Craig.
Sold for $14,100
Thanks for the update Jim!
