This is not your typical review for Motor Trend Magazine during that era, Very much surprised that they reviewed A CJ5. Yes, I agree, any Jeep at that time was a “Rump Ride” some of us called it a “Kidney Killer” ride. All in all, I thought it was a fair & honest review. For Men Only header seems appropriate, it was rare to see a woman driving a Jeep in NJ. I know my mom didn’t like it, and convinced my dad to buy a good used 1956 Chevy for $50.00. This was a big deal in our neighborhood, we became a TWO CAR FAMILY.
