“This 1949 Willys Jeepster has reportedly spent its life in Ontario, Canada and was acquired by the seller last year. Finished in blue and white over a blue vinyl interior, the truck is powered by a 134ci L-head inline-four linked to a column-shifted three-speed manual gearbox. The fluids and filters were serviced in November 2019, and a safety inspection was performed. This Jeepster is offered with a replacement canvas top, spare wheels, and Ontario registration.”
Never seen one in this color. Assuming it must be custom.
To bring it down from Canada is not going to be easy at the moment. Likely you won’t be able to do it yourself due to upcoming cross border restrictions based the virus.
There is an import duty if it was never registered previously in the US, but it’s only a few hundred $. But to have someone bring it over the border for you means likely hiring an agent and transport, which could easily add $1-2K to your acquisition cost. I acquired a Canadian car out of Montreal and went through this experience a while back.
