These pics are a little nicer, but from a different eBay auction:
My Uncle Joe had one of these Jeepster wood kits that he never assembled, it sat in his desk drawer for many years. As a child in the early 1950’s, I was fascinated by it, kept opening the middle drawer just to look at it. Being only about 3 or 4 years old, Unc thought (correctly) I was too young to know how to assemble it, but promised to give it to me when I got older. Well, Uncle Joe moved to his own place, and I never had the opportunity, maybe this is the moment in time I’ve been waiting for. After all, at 70 years of age, I think I’m old enough now. Should I bid, or should I pass? that is the question.
You should buy it and build it!
Tom in Paris,
From your location. can you see the Eiffel Tower? Seriously, are you in France, or some lesser place here in the states?
Mike
Looks like a nice kit. Keep it in the box or build it. Either way if it’s priced right go ahead and buy it. If you do buy it and assemble it would love to see it finished.
At least it wont rust ?
Mike, it’s Paris,Kentucky. There is a small Eiffel Tower in front of our farmer’s market here. A smaller place for certain, but I don’t think of it as lesser!
I now have got a few wood kits of different jeeps. I don’t have the heart to assemble them, yet have a curiosity to see them assembled…
Mike,
Tom can’t see the Eiffel Tower, but might be able to see the Stoner Fork of the Licking River from his home in Paris, Kentucky. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Paris,+KY+40361/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x8843cac7c4ff4eb1:0x14f9f499443d8f78?sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiWm-LwoaLoAhWUhJ4KHcjFDV8Q8gEwIHoECB4QBA
When I was in my early teens I used to make all kinds of models. Problem is after building it, what do you do then? For me I shot up about 30 finished models with my BB gun one afternoon. Don’t think I have done a model since. Keep it in the box and imagine how nice of a job you could/ would to to it.
Tom … didn’t see your response on this …
Looks like both Paris, Kentucky, https://www.roadsideamerica.com/tip/2689 and Paris, Texas, have Eiffel Towers https://www.roadsideamerica.com/search/tip … I need to add both to the next road trip east!

By the way, all this PIZZA JEEP EUPHORIA, jogged my memory, Paris France have the Eiffel Tower, but NJ had the LEANING TOWER OF PIZZA,,, you heard it here first.
as I remember , ENNIS , MONTANA is not far from BUTTE …
Dave, I crossed Stoner and the Licking River today. Both stuffed full from rain lately. You and Ann always have a place if you head this way. I owe you for this daily diversion.
Thanks Tom! Sounds like a great reason for a visit 🙂
What is a good price for the Jeepster Kit No. 7R?
B. Bradley: My model was $20.50. That seemed like a fair price. I can’t remember running across another of these models, so it’s a pretty rare item at this point.
