Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have what is titled as a 1947 Ford GPW. This Jeep has sat for the last 10 years. It was reported as having the transmission quit, the motor turns but the carb needs rebuilt/ replaced. This is a Las Vegas Jeep and has only minor rust. I started to tear down this project but life has gotten in the way. I was going to restore this back to it’s former glory! I have many of the needed parts to get this back on the road.”
