UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
Well this has some unusual mods!
“Solid 1946 Jeep Willy. Runs great for a 74 year old vehicle. Great Willy for a farm, ranch or camp. A true workhorse. Came from rancher in Texas and was used on a cattle farm. Was purchased from the previous owner in Virginia where it was used as a recreation vehicle. Currently used at a kids camp in the Shenandoah Mountains. Runs strong and will turn a lot of heads.. One of the stronger old jeeps that I have seen … a true original with a powerful working winch as a bonus.”
Was this the inspiration for Land Rover ?
you sure don’t need to look far for a place to put your beer with a jeep like this around.
LOL @ Bob!
Clem: Or the LR was the inspiration for this creation.
That’s kinda a cool..
It has a Central PTO winch!
I mean center mounted.
Duz the roll bar pivot w/the windshield
Bingo, I didn’t notice that the windshield and ‘roll bar’ were welded together. I can’t tell if everything or nothing pivots. There are some strange holes in the windshield metal cover that don’t make sense to me. It’s a curious contraption!
cow-catcher ? – this thing needs some SAWZALL work ..
actually , this would be great on my new ranch , cows on 3 sides …
