UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5500.
“1945 Ford GPW Jeep made for WW2 multiple “F” stamped bolts, tool boxes. Awesome project. Has a running Buick V6 engine in it. Runs and Drives . Brand new brakes all around , new master cylinder. Warren overdrive. 4×4 high and low work perfectly. Comes with trailer to tow it .”
I’d have that home in a hot minute on my coast…
Gentleman, I met this seller through FB and at the time he had NO clue about Ford GPW jeeps. Just thought it was an old non WW2 Jeep.
We converesed back and forth and he had sent me many pics of the frame and undercarriage of surface rust bolts with F stamp then the body stamps and it turns out the frame and body are Ford. Of course the eng and windshied are not and im sure a few replacement parts but the bonus is he has an early 1970s pink CA title describing it as a ford gpw. Id buy it just as a runner but im in the middle of a refi. Btw I believe he lowered the price. Person was a joy to talk with.
JEEP IS SOLD
That’s great news Mike. Thanks for the update. I’ve updated the post.
