Notice the two threaded bolts that appear on the lower part of the windshield. My 48 CJ2A has the same thing and wondering whats missing? Grab handle maybe.

E-brake hole has not been punched (repro tub) or there’s a painted over plug in low resolution photos. Over the years I have seen 2A windshield frames where owners have removed the center post.
