UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9800
Has some Watson hubs. Doesn’t run.
“Selling a 1940’s military Ford GPW. Clean CA title, out of the system. Very original and complete for its age. Ford script stamp on body, motor and drivetrain is complete, but not sure when it ran last. Very minimal rust in hat channels, all five original combat wheels, also have original air cleaner for it. See pics. Selling it as is. Price: $12500.”
She’s a beauty. Lot’s of original and expensive-to-replace parts.

A little bit of a gamble, not running and non original engine, but as Dave C. said, “She is a beauty”. I can’t believe how straight and complete the body is. The front bumper and frame horns are near perfect. I thought the front grill was painted red for some purpose, but it looks like whole grill assembly was replaced. Jeep must have led a sheltered life stateside, would love to know it’s history.
There are bolts in the machine gun pedestal mount, I wonder if one was installed at one time, or if the early models all had bolts installed.
Look carefully, it has a CJ head and block. Also I don’t see any half door sockets and the tool indentations look to have had some work. Nice Jeep but not worth the price.
Relisted at $9800.
