It’s unclear if if either of these are running or not. The CJ-2A is priced at $4000 and the CJ-5 at $8750. The prices were calculated based on a vehicle appraiser. Looks like the appraiser doesn’t know jeeps and misled the owner on their value. You can see lots of photos at https://judysjeep.com
“1947 Willys Jeep for sale. Have the pink slip – not registered. Original owner. Has some surface rust. Had appraisal done by auto appraisal company. Jeep was used on a ranch and then stored in a barn. Currently stored inside a facility.”
Here’s a pic of the 1968 CJ-5:
Many of these so called appraisers are scams, phony guys that make themselves look official by asking how much money would you think it’s worth, them making their appraisal for more then that amount. Knew a guy back in the 80’s in NJ who had a nice little side line doing this. He was a thief in more ways then one.
I’m thinking high retail for both is half the appraised value… with one third the appraised value being more reasonable. No mention of whether either Jeep runs (or ran when parked).
Must be the same people who judge car shows…
