UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
Jarek wrote an article about these for the CJ-3B page; some painted ‘gold’ were given to employees. The hood opens and the windshield folds down.
“RARE 1955 to 1962 Willys Kaiser Jeep CJ5 promo model in 1/25 scale. Well scaled with fold-down windshield and opening hood.Has the famous Jeep Hurricane engine. Missing steering wheel. All tires are good including the side-mount spare tire. Overall, not perfect but very nice. Displays well.”
6″ long. Too small.
I agree, Six inches is too small. The one thing I’ve noticed about 1/25 scale models of Jeeps, they don’t appear to be TRUE TO SCALE, always a bit too small compared to other 1/25 scale models. Even with my 1/25 scale plastic model kits (AMT) this was something I noticed. Just as an example, it is stated the above listed model is 1/25 scale and about 6″ long. My AMT 1/25 scale CJ5 is 5″ long, if using the same TRUE TO SCALE, how can that be accurate? Just something I’ve noticed for decades, and being Bob mentioned the subject, I thought I’d expand on it.
I still like it at that size, just not at that price.

You are right. Price is high and Jeep is short. A bad combination.
Solid front and rear axles!
