A very beautiful Jeep indeed. If I can, I’m going to take a look at it tomorrow to see if I fit. I heard that CJs are a bit on the small side, and being about 6′ 2″ I want to be sure that I’ll fit in one of these if I ever get one. I’ve already talked with the owner and it’s alright with him, so all that’s left is to find out when I’ll have the time to make it over there!

I’m 6′ and I fit just right, but I installed my own seat and steering column (my steering column tilts, which gives me enough room to get in and out comfortably). Another way I sit comfortably is that I sit down in the seat, because of the way the seats are designed, and the seat lifts my thighs upwards; that support really helps my comfort. The seats in the jeep above are flatter, so you’ll get a little less lift and support.

Let me know what you think of the Jeep!

I think you’ll be suprised how much room there is in a flatty with stock type seating…. They can get tight when you start adding aftermarket seats, but with the stock stuff there is quite a bit of room really..

Well, unfortunately I didn’t get to try it out because I couldn’t get in touch with the seller at the time he told me to call. The next day, I got his wife on the phone and told me that he had just sold the Jeep. I guess that must have been why I couldn’t get a hold of him. Thanks for the info though guys! That really makes me feel better. πŸ™‚ (I was worried about it being impractical to get one if I was too big for it!)
