This is a fun little article
I think Cast Iron Charlie had been testing Jeeps at his farm previous to the article, but about the time the article was published, Willys Overland had a huge media day at Sorenson’s farm, demonstrating all the things you could use a Jeep for.
That’s the first I’ve heard of Canaday sending him a Jeep to help lure him over. Very interesting.
