UPDATE: Price dropped to $4500.
(09/17/2018) Will need a few minor things done, but looks like a good price on a vintage jeep. The seller goes into great detail on the jeep.

“Registered (non-op currently) as a 1967 due to a motor swap, this Flat Fender Jeep is actually a 40’s or early 50’s Jeep Willys. The motor is a Chevy 283 V8 from a 67′ Chevelle. This Jeep is full of goodies and smog exempt. After owning her for more than 10 years (Originally a bachelors toy), it’s time to find a new home as there’s little room for kids & dogs in a Willys. One guarantee, This Jeep makes people smile, especially children when they see it. Like a big bright yellow Tonka toy. It’s also a blast to take to classic car shows as it’s always one of the oldest vehicles in attendance and often the most unique (not just another hotrod/muscle car in the lineup, and the only on that can go OFF the highway).
The Awesome:
The 283 motor is very healthy and always registers over 50 psi of oil pressure. The heads are numbers matching as well. (I can text you a video of it running and you can hear the sexy deep flowmasters too)
I recently flushed the fuel tank and installed new fuel lines and filter.
Installed new Marine ignition switch.
Tune up with less than 100 miles on it. (Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, belt)
Holley dual plane aluminum intake
Edelbrock carb.
K&N Filter,
Old school SoCal customs finned aluminum valve covers,
Flex light performance fan and upgraded radiator. Has coolant overflow too.
Full length headers which run into a pair of Flowmaster mufflers that immediately exit out the sides behind the seats (can be seen in the pictures). This Jeep sounds like a muscle car.
T90 transmission
T18 transfer case
After market Warn overdrive unit. (not sure if it works as I’ve never driven it far)
Hurst Shifter with Moon Eyes knob.
The axles are a Dana 25 up front with locking hubs, and a strong Dana 44 in back with 5.44 gears in each. Painted to match axle covers.
Custom thick aluminum bumpers.
Neither axle has ever given me a problem. I am not sure of their history, and do not know if they have been built up with stronger components or not. Both had been recently greased and had the oil changed with new pumpkin gaskets, and new outside seals for the front axle. (Unfortunately I can see the driver side has a drip)
Brake/Clutch master cylinder is from a 1965 C10. I believe the pedal set up is from the same truck.
Steering column may be from C10 as well.
3 inch suspension lift.
Offset chrome rims and 33 12.5 15 BF Goodrich mud terrain tires with a lot of meat on them. (Includes 5 spares)
Steering has been upgraded to a manual Chevy box & steering column.
Turn signal/emergency added to column.
Large side view mirrors.
Windshield wiper works.
This Jeep also features:
A thick, full Roll Cage so you can safely go after those crazy angles.
Bucket seats from a full size Bronco.
Tow bar bolted and welded to front bumper assembly.
Spare tire mount bolted to rare panel. (Includes 5 spare tires!)
Grant steering wheel,
12 volt electrical system,
Tail lights from a 1965 Mustang
Turn signals added to front.
Full gauges including tachometer,
Halogen headlights,
2X 100 watt driving lights,
Functional hood scoop in which you can look down and see the K&N filter directly.
The floors have been coated in truck bed liner.
Battery has been relocated behind the driver’s seat for better weight distribution and more engine access.
Comes with 4 33/12.5/15 BFG Mud Terrain tires (worn but meaty). 4 Remington Wide Brute RV 33/12.5/15 (almost brand new), and 1 additional 33/12.5/15 (worn) I can’t remember the brand. All on their own rims w/ 5X5.5 to fit the Jeep.
The not as awesome:
The Jeep is old and oil drips become noticeable.
The windshield has a crack in it, never bothered me, but aftermarket is easy to obtain.
The transmission likes to pop out of reverse. All forward gears work flawlessly and the clutch does not slip at all.
Clutch Master Cylinder has started to leak, Cheap to replace.
One of the five spare tires has a slow leak.
Please don’t contact me unless you’re seriously interested as free time isn’t easy to come by for me. Also I’m not very interested in trades unless you have a 63 Corvette coupe collecting dust and you’ve always really just wanted a Willys. Others.. well, can’t hurt to email me your offer.”
Odd place to mount the Tach
I guess using Mustang rear lights was a California thing.
