Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

oh no , don’t mess with those 2.8 chebbie engines — trouble , big trouble , we had them in little s-10 blazers , company off road vehicles — didn’t they have vari-jet carburetors ?? — BIZARRE ??
The varajet carbs were regular 2 barrel but with a computer control mixture solenoid. They were good carbs. Ford had a variable venturi carb on the 302 in the late 70’s to early 80’s which was a sideways piston that moved like motorcycle carb to change the size of the carburetor throat.
I’m sorry , i’m an old man and cant remember everything — I used to work on both of those carbs — all I remember is one was a variable venturi — googled varajet , says used on some jeeps ? — cj’s 1980 81 82 83 ? — all my jeeps are in the 40’s 50’s 60’s — I know s-10 blazers had them , electronic control carb — the variable venturi autolite carbs I know we had in our fleet , I remember working on them , cant place what vehicle it was .. surely not one of our f-800s ,,
ps — I think it was a mid 80’s bronco II , 2.8 german v-6 — he had a utility company and we had to have 4×4 vehicles to access mountainous areas — I used my jeeps to access on-air relay sites on mountain peaks — standby generator repair and service — great fun when you get to four-wheel and get paid big money for it ..
