Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1953/M38A1.Military Jeep,Complete solid body “rust free”, rolling chassis straight, has original standard transmission and transfer case assembly, electrical system has been converted into 12volt system and replaced with tilt steering wheel column complete from 1987 jeep, 4inch, rollbar round tube cage, original axles, and 10×15 wheels and 31/12.5R15M/T tires. Note has “No” motor in jeep but has original engine disassembled for rebuilding. Selling as is. $2500.”
